  Joining BADJAR Ogilvy when it was BADJAR Melbourne, I was the Red Rooster Art Director for two years involving numerous retail TVC's and POS. I was moved to a larger range of brand accounts in 2002. Creative achievements include Yellowglen Bubbly Girls Campaign - art directed for eight years across all four sub-brands of Yellow, Vintage, Jewel & Perle. As well as Secret Stone 'Where Secrets Live' campaign. Successful creative for The Salvation Army spanning over three years of Red Shield and Christmas Appeals, and McCain TVC's including 'Beer Batter Fries'.   As a multidisciplinary advertising agency, my responsibilities included concept development and art direction for brand and retail advertising clients across press, TV, radio, newsletters, annual reports, retail product catalogues, corporate reports and videos. As well as brand identity development across logos, stationery, brochures, marketing collateral, uniforms, vehicles and display material for trade and public show spaces. Brands include TAB, MBF, Island State Credit Union, Hydro Electric Corporation/Aurora Energy, Tasmanian Fire Service, Breastscreen Tasmania, Purity Supermarkets/Woolworths, Besser Tasmania, Freycinet Lodge, WIN News, Eski Ice Company, Redrock Flooring, St John's Hospital, Tasmanian Racing Board, Tasmanian Greyhound Racing Board, Tasmanian Convention Bureau, Community and Health Department of Tasmania and Tourism Tasmania.   When I joined O&M,M my responsibilities included design and finished art for annual reports, retail press, catalogues, logos and brochures from within the studio. After two years I moved into a creative team as an advertising art director. Recommendation - Chris Bellears, Senior Writer - 15.01.99 "As far as references go, this one should be taken with a grain or two of salt. After all, I'm a copywriter, and convincing people with words is what I'm supposed to do for a living. However. I've worked with Jo for over five years. I've worked closely with her for two years. She was my art director for more than 12 months, so I feel I have some inside knowledge on what makes Jo tick. I watched her evolve from a talented designer into a very talented art director. She embraced the idea that good art direction has much more to do with great ideas, and less to do with pretty pictures. She can write a TV script. She can whip up a quick pantone layout.   Scan Creative produced design and finished art for local brands, including catalogues and press for Automart Superstore, Bumper'T'Bumper and Holden and well as logos and local ad campaigns for The Hilton Hotel, Conrad Jupiters Casino, Queensland Tourism and Wet 'n Wild. Here I first experienced the value of an idea, and a Mac to save me from the darkroom!
